About Michael
A Notary Who Comes to You — and Comes Prepared
Michael Brown is a commissioned Florida Notary Public focused on one thing: making mobile notarization dependable for the people who need it most.
Why Mobile Notary Work — and Why Seniors
Michael Brown built his mobile notary practice around a simple observation: the people who most need a notary's services are often the ones least able to travel to one. Seniors recovering from surgery, residents of assisted living and memory care communities, hospital patients, and homebound individuals all have the same document deadlines as everyone else — powers of attorney, healthcare directives, living wills, trust and estate paperwork — but far less ability to sit in a waiting room to get them notarized.
That gap is where Michael works. As a commissioned Florida Notary Public (Commission No. HH400114, expiring May 18, 2027), he travels directly to homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, memory care communities, and law offices throughout the Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach corridor of Palm Beach County.
Senior Care Expertise
A meaningful share of Michael's appointments involve signers who are elderly, in memory care, or navigating cognitive fluctuations. Florida law is explicit that a notary cannot notarize a document if the signer does not understand its general purpose or appears to be acting under pressure. Rather than treat that as a risk to avoid, Michael built his process around it — including a free signer readiness screening tool that families, facility staff, and referring attorneys can use before an appointment is ever booked. The goal is always the same: confirm the signer is ready, so the appointment succeeds the first time.
“My goal is simple: show up prepared so your signer can sign, and leave with a properly executed document. No surprises, no second visits, no stress for your residents or clients.”
Working With Professionals
Michael also works closely with the professionals who serve seniors every day — elder law and estate planning attorneys, assisted living and skilled nursing administrators, discharge planners, and hospice and home health case managers. He notarizes documents; he does not prepare them or offer legal advice. For anything involving legal document selection or drafting, he defers to the client's attorney or refers them to one.
